Tim is a planner with over nine years’ experience in land use and transport planning both in the public and private sectors. Tim has contributed to and managed projects related to travel demand management, contemporary parking practices and policies, strategic and operational public transport planning, infrastructure planning, and transport and land use policy and strategies. His recent projects have included a comprehensive study into shopping centres and public transport infrastructure for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, development of a parking strategy for Maroochydore Priority Development Area, and development of access and movement strategies to improve accessibility in mixed-use centres.
Through his experience and interest in the link between land use and transport, Tim has developed an interest in alternative models of governance and financing of transport infrastructure. During his career, he has worked on strategic planning, urban design, and research projects for a variety of clients throughout Australasia, Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
